Scope and Content Note

Series Four of Sub-Group Four contains records from the years 1897 through 1913. Along with the every day business of the University, documents in this series chronicle the MU's involvement in preparation for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Also included are records of the rapid growth of both organized sports and scholarly research at the University of Missouri.
