Ellis Library North Entrance (University Archives, C:1/40/1) University of Missouri-Columbia Historical Records: Kardex Concordance Record Group 0, University General This Record Group contains materials pertaining to MU alumni and the MU Alumni Association, which includes memorabilia, photographs, and official publications and administrative records of the MU Alumni Association. It also describes University of Missouri-Columbia materials such as campus maps, photographs, commencement records, and catalogues. Record Group 1, Administration This Record Group contains materials pertaining to the management of the University of Missouri-Columbia. For example, the records of the Presidents (the title of the chief administrative officer of MU until 1963) and the Chancellors (the title of the chief administrative officer of MU after 1963), Vice Chancellors, Deans (Extension, Extra-Divisional, and Students) and the Provosts fall within this group. In addition, other MU offices such as the University Police, Registrar, Personnel, Development, and University Relations are also described. Record Group 2, The University Faculty This Record Group contains materials pertaining to the entire faculty at the University of Missouri-Columbia. By-Laws, memorials, faculty publications and handbooks are a few examples of the materials found in this group. Publications of the School of Home Economics and the School of Engineering, the College of Education, the Departments of Art History and Archaeology, Math, Black Studies, among many others, are described in this group.
