7 How can I check materials out from the
University Archives?
1 No. The University Archives is often mistakenly contacted for
enrollment and registration information, especially concerning transcripts
and diploma replacement. Please contact the UMC Registrar's Office (Enrollment
Services/Registration) for such information requests. Beyond regular UMC
transcripts, the Registrar's Office also has Laboratory School transcripts
as well as Distance Education transcripts before 1980.

2 Due to staff and resource limitations, the Archives' staff cannot
conduct extensive research for patrons. Staff is often limited to an hour
or two of research for a patron.
The University facilitates hiring University of Missouri students at an hourly rate to conduct research for you.

holdings, so only a very small amount have been scanned and digitized.
What you found from the website is merely a description of the holdings;
the image itself is not available online.

University by contacting the Human Resource Services front desk:

5 No. We can verify what year a particular individual graduated
from the University; however, current contact information cannot be given
out.

7 Archival material cannot be checked out. Once you have found
documents or records you are interested in looking at, arrangements must
be made with the staff of University Archives to retrieve the materials
and to set up a time to view them in the Reading Room.
