This Series contains records of the MU College of Agriculture, Food and Natural
Resources Dean's Office concerning Study Abroad Programs, (1993-1999). These
records include applications, application essays, correspondence, forms, fiscal
records and reports, newsletters, itineraries, contacts, budgets, student lists/rosters,
agreement documentation, course lists and books, brochures and booklets, and
surveys pertaining to the following programs/trips: EARTH (Escuela de Agricultura
de la Region Tropical Humeda) in Costa Rica, (1993-1999); EGRET (Exploring Global
Resources through Extension Training) in Costa Rica, (1999); Northern Ireland,
(1999); and Prague, Czech Republic, (1996-1999). Kurt Richter was program director
during the creation of these records.

Note to Researcher: EARTH is a four-year college dedicated to sustainable
agriculture in the humid tropics. Among many other things, students learn forward-thinking
methods of integrated pest management, silviculture and cultivation of tropical
crops. UMC sends a group of approximately 11 students to Costa Rica every fall
and winter semester.

This Series contains records of the UMC College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural
Resources Dean's Office, (1947-1978). Included in this Series are correspondence,
reports, maps, blueprints, copies of leases and agreements, etc., concerning
establishment and maintenance of stations: Bradford Farm, Delta Center, Foremost
Guernsey Farm, Hatch Farm, North Missouri Center, Southwest Center, Thompson
Farm, Timmons Farm, South Farm, and Weldon Spring, Experimental Feed Mill, and

and Economic Affairs) and its affect on the Department of Agriculture, various
problems of the Fertilizer Control Service, and, lastly, material documenting
the creation, organization, and growth of the Roanridge Training Center Foundation

World Food Conference, material from the various divisions of the College of

This Series contains records of the UMC College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural
Resources Dean's Office, (1913-1978, bulk 1960-1975). Included in this Series
are blueprints, drawings, and a few aerial photographs of many of the buildings,
research parks, farms, and roads of the UMC campus. The majority of these materials
are dated between 1960 to the mid-1970s. The Old Livestock Pavilion material
is dated 1913, and one map of the university property is dated 1916. Also this
Series includes a 6-page document entitled, The Missouri Environmental and
Climatic Laboratory Facility: Current and Future Research Activities, (11/05/1973)
and a 20"x16" aerial print of UMC campus east of Hitt Street, which includes
the Memorial Union, (ca. 1952-1963).
