This Record Sub-Group contains University of Missouri System University Relations promotional films, in a variety of formats and depicting events and individuals on all four MU campuses (1964-1986). A limited number of production and promotional files for the film are included in the Sub-Group. Topics of these films include commencement exercises, public service announcements, sporting events, departmental films, and historical occasions and anniversaries related to the University of Missouri. The Sub-Group also contains a few photographs and negatives, often for publicity and promotional use.
Note to Researchers: Some of the dates given in the inventory refer to the production date of the master or its copies.

Box 1
Note to Archivst: Film Nos. 3, 4, and 5 originally in Box 1 consisted of numerous individual clips spliced together onto large reels. In 2016 these individual clips were placed onto separate reels. This necessitated adding an additional box (Box 1a) to the collection.
Film 7 consisted of eight individual reels of public service announcements which have now been listed separately in Box 1 of this finding aid.
