The title of Animal Husbandry refers to the types of husbandry not already specifically given a Sub-Group such as Poultry and Dairy Husbandry. Materials include reports, special reports, research, professional conference proceedings, and materials from Beef, Sheep and Swine Days. Series Descriptions: Series 1. - C:3/46/1 This Series contains materials related to the field of Animal Husbandry. Materials include surveys, reports, conference proceedings, fliers, special reports, and newsletters. Topics include meat judging, livestock feeding procedures, improvement programs, Beef Day, Swine Day, Sheep Day, and livestock management, (1952-2001). Series 2. - C:3/46/2 (A12-04) This Series contains a ledger entitled "Weigh Book of Nutrition Steers," (1910-1918), that records steer identification numbers along with weights, locations, dates, and ultimate dispositions. The ledger includes information for Steer Groups 2 through 8. (1 FF, Small Holdings Box 1) Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
