Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources' Agricultural Engineering Department. Included in this Sub-Group are departmental project reports, faculty personnel files, Advisory Council files, professional conference proceedings, and departmental histories. The Sub-Group also contains records of the Agricultural Systems Management unit.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:3/18/4 (A96-70)
This Series contains reports concerning the UMC Department of Agricultural Engineering's Farm Electric Utilization Project (1957-1969). These project reports include cost and benefit studies of the uses of electricity on Missouri farms, to improve the productivity and living standards of farm families.

Series 2. - C:3/18/5
This Series contains a copy of a history of the UMC Department of Agricultural Engineering, by Department Chair, John C. Wooley (1950). This work, entitled Some Incidents in the Change from a Manpower Enterprise to Fantastic Farming, also highlights Wooley's career as an MU Professor of Agricultural Engineering from 1920-1950.

This Series contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources' Department of Food Systems and Bioengineering, formerly known as Agricultural Engineering, (1945-2015). The records in the Series are terminated faculty files [RESTRICTED] and include correspondence, personnel forms, promotion and tenure records, evaluations, publications, and curricula vitae. The Series also contains a few miscellaneous photographs of faculty members.

The records pertain to the Agricultural Engineering Advisory Council and consist of meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, memoranda, scholarship and fellowship recommendation forms [RESTRICTED], and departmental and graduation statistics.

This Series contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources' Department of Food Systems and Bioengineering, formerly known as Agricultural Engineering, (1983-2014). The records consist of plans and drawings of the Agricultural Engineering Building including general floor plans, a site survey, (1983), shop relocation, (1988), landscaping, (1987), roofing, (1986), the Food Engineering Laboratory, (1988), and Room 163, (2014). The Series also includes a renovation of the Wet Laboratory 224A in Eckles Hall, (2014).
