This Record Sub-Group contains UMC School of Medicine Printed and Duplicated Materials. Included in this Sub-Group are research reports, catalogs and bulletins, alumni directories, student directories, yearbooks, and newsletters.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:14/00/1 (A83-64)
This Series contains printed and duplicated materials from the UMC School of Medicine's Department of Community Health and Medical Practice, including Studies In Health Care, featuring reports of research in related medical fields (1970-1971), and "The Environmental Sciences Program: An Elective Area of Concentration for the Degree Master of Science in Public Health", 1974.

Series 2. - C:14/47/1
This Series contains catalogs and bulletins produced by the UMC School of Medicine (ca. 1910-1978). Included in this Series are catalogs of both graduate and undergraduate programs, listing course offerings, entrance requirements, degree requirements, names of faculty, and semester schedules. Also included in the Series are general information and promotional bulletins, as well as bulletins offering specialized information concerning the School of Medicine's various programs.

Series 3. - C:14/12/1 (A92-31, A02-28, A12-98; A23-83)
This Series contains UMC School of Medicine Medical Alumni records, (1874-2016). Included in this Series are directories of students, faculty, and alumni with alphabetically and geographically arranged lists of students and faculty (1928, 1938, 1959, 1963-1970, 1974, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2006, 2011, 2016). Also included in this Series is Medical Dames Yearbook and School of Medicine Student Directory, containing the "Medical Dames" constitution and names of that organization's officers for the year 1966.

Note to Researcher: For copies of MUtations, the UMC Medical School and School of Nursing yearbook, see Record Group 15 C, Sub-Group 7. Many of these directories contain class lists for the years from 1874 onward. Also, the 1928 directory has listings for the Medical College of St. Louis. Duplicate copies of a number of the volumes of University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine's Alumni Directory are kept in the University Archives Reading Room.
Series 4. - C:14/37/2 (A96-56; pamphlet file)
This Series contains the UMC School of Medicine's Gerontology Institute newsletter Newsmemo, (1987-1989), as well as correspondence relating to the newsletter's development (1986-1990). This newsletter was a forum for reports concerning research in aging conducted at the School of Medicine and by UMC Extension field staff. The Series also includes one issue of the newsletter Missouri Gerontology Institute Report (Vol. V No. 3, 8/1984).

This Series contains copies of several UMC School of Medicine "in-house" publications, (ca. 1957-1981). Included in this series are examples of such mimeographed and photocopied newsletters as On Call, Around the Center, Daily Digest, Because We Care, News From the Medical Center, Hospital Newsletter, Hospital Heartbeat, Nursing Service Newsletter, Pathology Computer Program General Newsletter, Medical Faculty Newsletter, and News-Path. The series also contains one copy of the Spring 1989 issue of Clergy Newsletter.

This Series contains general printed and duplicated material of the University of Missouri's School of Medicine and its various departments amd units, (ca. 1956-). The material includes, among other record types, brochures, flyers, handbooks, booklets, pamphlets, newsletters, publications, directories, and reports pertaining to recruitment, development, lectures and other events, students, research, seminars, academic programs, annual reports, and general information. Some of the titles are: The Factor-Y News, Health Management and Informatics Newsletter, Internal Medicine, and Research Newsletter.

Series 7. - C:14/00/3
This Series contains printed and duplicated material of the University of Missouri's School of Medicine, (1982-2012). The material consists of the Missouri Medical Review, (1982-1991, 1993-2002, 2004-2005, 2009-2010, 2012). The Spring 1982 issue is Volume 1, Number 1 for the publication, replacing the Health Sciences Bulletin (see C:14/00/4 below).

This Series contains printed and duplicated material of the University of Missouri's School of Medicine, (1961-1980). The material consists of the Medical Center Bulletin, (1961-1980). With the Summer 1980 issue, the publication was renamed Health Sciences Bulletin.
