This Record Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia Office of Admissions and Registrar, (1913-1973). Included in this Sub-Group are correspondence files, photostats of correspondence, pamphlets, reports, class lists, and applications for admission. Subjects include accredited school listings, the State Educational Institutional Conference Agreement, entrance exams, MU during WWII, the Army Air Force, the Civil Aeronautics Authority Vocational Flight Training Program, admission of Japanese American students to MU, admission of African-American students to MU such as Lloyd Gaines and Lucille Bluford, courses scheduled and offered, and Office of Admissions and Registrar policies and procedures.

Note to Archivist: The portion of this collection containing records about the admission of African Americans to MU (Box 2, 1/3 c.f.) has been microfilmed.
