Scope and Content Note

This Record Sub-Group contains correspondence, news articles, reports, relating to the University and the federal government, created in the office of Sandra Moody, Special Assistant to the University of Missouri President. It includes materials concerning cooperative efforts by associations and councils (AAU, ACE, CUPU, NACUBO, NASULGC, NCURA, etc.); relations with the Missouri congressional delegation; proposed legislation; operations of office in Washington, D.C.; trips by Moody; visits to office by President Olson; and correspondence with university administrators and divisions.

Series Descriptions:

This Record Sub-Group is divided into three separate records series. Series One contains correspondence and organizational files pertaining to the Columbia campus of the University of Missouri alphabetically arranged. Series Two consists of files relating to the entire University of Missouri system, and is arranged alphabetically. Series Three contains separate files for each of the four University of Missouri locations: Columbia, Kansas City, Rolla, and St. Louis. Within each campus section the filing sequence is alphabetical.
