Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri President's subordinate Office of Investments and Trusts. Included are correspondence, reports, plans, presentations, and financial statements.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1 - UW:4/47/1 (A86-117; A91-129)
This Series contains records of the Office of Investments and Trusts and includes correspondence, statements of accounts, records of actions of the Investment Committee of the Board of Curators, analysis of stock portfolios, monthly lists of investment transactions, quarterly reports of investments, statements of funds available for investment, copies of bank drafts (drawn for the purpose of purchasing securities), UM-System transaction vouchers (1965-1970), and documents regarding gifts from the Alumni Association for furnishing of the Alumni Center.

Series 2 - UW:4/47/NP (A00-98)
This Series contians records of the Office of Investments and Trusts and consists of correspondence, reports, plans and presentations. The Series also contains banking and campus correspondence created by Shirley Dejarnette, Assistant Vice-President of Investment and Banking. The campus correspondence deals with trust payments, financial planning, Kenya accounts, and endowed chairs (1993-1994). Other correspondence included in Series 2 relates to investment bankers, the fund manager regarding hospital debt (1993-1994), the Pension Consulting Alliance, and the firm of Rogers, Casey & Associates. Reports, investment bench mark performance plans, and presentations (1993-1994) from the firm of Rogers, Casey & Associates are also included in the Series as are records of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs (1993-1994), and material relating to university debt (1991-1994).

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
