Arrangement within individual series follows chronological order. Series One contains records documenting University ownership of Agricultural College lands, including office correspondence, annual summaries of land purchases, and a Township Plat Book (ca. 1890) which lists all University of Missouri owned land by township and county. Series Two contains wills and trust agreements from which the University of Missouri received land or funding. Included in Series Two are wills setting up scholarships, fellowships, and memorial funds. Individual folders in Series Two may include correspondence, copies of wills and other legal documents, deeds and land abstracts, court documents (regarding contested wills), assessments of properties, and Board of Curators actions and related papers. Series Three contains correspondence and records concerning University of Missouri property sold and otherwise disposed of, such as deeds and land abstracts, rental agreements, records of Board of Curators actions, contracts, property appraisals, trust agreements, and related legal documents.
