Also included are color prints, 35mm negative strips, and other negative sizes. Though many of the photographs are individually unidentified, they depict staff, events, buildings and spaces, such as the Rotary South Garden Project, public forums, receptions, fall festivals with speakers Nancy Jones and Patty Buschjost, (1993-1994), Art for Life, the Cancer Commission, 50th Anniversary celebrations, University of Missouri-Columbia Flag Raising Day, (1990), house staff and doctors, and aerials of the Center. [A22-38] Oversized Box 1 contains black-and-white and color photographic prints (8" x 10" and larger), including staff portraits, building exteriors, the Green Building groundbreaking, and a few contact sheets of the building and of people. The box also contains Missouri legislature resolutions, Association of Community Cancer Centers certificates of standards, Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations certificates, an architect's drawing of the East Addition, and 60-year celebration posters. Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released. |
