Scope and Content Note
This Record Sub-Group contains records created by the Teacher Development
Program (TDP) in the College of Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Records found in this Sub-Group include course materials.
Historical Note:
According to the TDP website, the "Teacher Development Program is a teacher preparation
program designed and delivered collaboratively by the MU College of Education
faculty and Partner Districts who are members of the MU Partnership for
Educational Renewal (MPER)." The TDP was previously known as the
Undergraduate Teacher Development Center.

Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:8/3/2 (A03-27; A04-19)
This Series contains records created by the Undergraduate Teacher Development Center (UTDC) and its successor, the Teacher Development Program, (1995-2000). The records include course syllabi and instructional material for classes such as the Inquiry into Learning sequence, learning experience marker analyses, design team materials, and early UTDC records such as Center Principles and Practice manuals and handbook drafts.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
