This Sub-Group holds items of memorabilia relating to the UMC College of Education.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:8/24/1 (A84-34)
This Series contains items of memorabilia relating to the UMC College of Education. Included in the Series are copies of class rosters from the 1930s and 1940s as well as a 1972 newspaper article entitled "Mrs. Edith H. Irion Dies: Patron of Education and Art." Mrs. Irion was the widow of Professor Theophil W. H. Irion, Dean of the MU School of Education (ca. 1930-1946).

Series 2. - C:8/24/2 (A21-35)
This Series contains memorabilia received by the College of Education at the University of Missouri, (1909-1985). The memorabilia consist of the charter for the University of Missouri Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa, (1911), that includes signatories Isidor Loeb and A. Ross Hill; two mounted photographs of members of Phi Delta Kappa, (1909, 1911); the charter for the Mu Delta Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, (1970); the charter for the Alpha Chapter of Pi Lambda Theta, (reissue [?], 1976); the charter for the Sigma Pi Alpha Chapter of the Future Teachers of America Education Association with annual "In Good Standing" stickers through 1956-1957, (1942); and an honorary degree certificate for Bob Woods presented by Prince of Songkla University and a mounted photograph of the presentation, (1985).

Series 3. - C:8/24/3 (A22-09)
This Series contains four portraits of former deans of the College of Education, (ca. 1909-1966). The framed paintings are of A. Ross Hill, Theophil W. H. Irion, Loran G. Townsend, and Herbert W. Schooling. The portrait of Hill was painted by local artist Gertrude Heinrici and presented to the College by Alpha Phi Sigma in 1909.
