Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:6/36/4
This Series contains printed and duplicated material created by and for the Molecular Biology Program, (1987-). The records consist of the Program's newsletter in addition to brochures, directories, Molecular Biology Week including the Abstract Books, and other informational material about the program.

Note to Researcher: The Molecular Biology Program was created in 1986 through an appropriation from the State of Missouri. The Program has ties to the School of Medicine's Department of Microbiology and Immunology as well as affiliations with other colleges at the University of Missouri.
Series 2. - C:6/36/5
This Series contains printed and duplicated material created by and for the Division of Biological Sciences. The records consist of brochures, newsletters, laboratory manuals, course lists, annual reports, and catalogs for various programs within the division, including Neuroscience/Neurobiology, Genetics, and Cellular, and Molecular and Developmental Biology. The Series also includes a University of Missouri publication entitled "Laboratory Outline: Morphology and Physiology of the Bacteria" from 1942, and a history of Biological Sciences at the University, ca. 1976.

Series 3. - C:6/36/10 (A18-43)
This Series contains a video of a lecture given by MU Professor of Biological Sciences James Birchler in conjunction with the dedication of a memorial bench on the MU campus to Lewis J. Stadler, (2018). Birchler's lecture, entitled "Lewis J. Stadler: A Brief History of Genetics at MU," was presented on 15 September, 2018, as part of the Bond Life Sciences Center's "Saturday Morning Science" lecture series. Series 3 also contains photographs documenting the unveiling and dedication of the memorial bench on the same day. Individuals depicted in the photographs include Birchler, Edward Coe, Gerry Neuffer, Kathy Newton, Joe Polacco, Perry Gustafson, Bruce McClure, Walter Gassmann, Toni Kazic, and others.
