Record Group: 6 C Scope and Content Note (A98-108) Historical Note: The Lowry Mall Sculpture Project consists of three sculptures, "Urania" by Anthony Padovano, "Inert Stabile," by Dennis Chegwidden and "Yielding Spire," by John Brough Miller. Only Miller's sculpture remains on Lowry Mall. Chegwidden's "Inert Stabile" has been moved to the grassy knoll in front of Ellis Library and Padovano's "Urania" has been moved to a landscaped area near Stankowski field. The selection and installation of these sculptures was overseen by the Visual Arts Task Force, which included prominent School of Fine Arts faculty members and patrons of the arts.
