Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group contains the administrative records of the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Human Environmental Sciences' Department of Housing and Interior Design. Included in this Sub-Group are faculty meeting minutes, faculty personnel records, faculty recruitment records, course materials, departmental reports, departmental budgets, and general operational records.

Series 1. - C:5/6/1 (A96-39)
This Series contains records of the MU College of Human Environmental Sciences' Department of Housing and Interior Design (1985). Included in this Series are an accreditation interim report intended for "The Foundation For Interior Design Education Research, by the Faculty Of The Housing And Interior Design Department College of Home Economics University of Missouri Columbia Fall, 1985."

Series 2. - C:5/6/NP (A98-63; A00-85; A00-127; A10-29)
Series Two contains the records of the College of Human Environmental Sciences' Department of Environmental Design (1975-2002). Included in this Series are course syllabi, departmental annual reports, Foundation for Interior Design Education Research (FIDER) report and responses, (1992-1996), Interior Design Department Advisory Board meeting records, and faculty meeting minutes, as well as records pertaining to housing and interior design education, the Campus Planning Committee, the Student Handbook and Graduate Student Handbook, and alumni. Subjects included in the Series are Board of Curators policy, departmental role and scope, international studies, Cooperative State Research Service (CSRS), the Graduate School, doctoral faculty membership, faculty and students' rights, privileges, and responsibilities, budgets, fees, and tenure.
