Historical Note: According to an article in the Columbia Missourian entitled, " 'Virtual' Images Used in MU Pitch," published on 05/17/2001, MU's athletic department hired Emerging Technologies Group, a branch of MU's Information and Access Technology Services (IATS), to develop digital 3-D representations of the proposed basketball arena that the department wants to build in the near future. The virtual tour is contained on the videocassettes; however, the videos have not been used for public presentations. Note to Researcher: A copy of the Columbia Missourian newspaper article, " 'Virtual' Images Used in MU Pitch," is attached to the paper inventory for this collection.
