Scope and Content Note

This Record Sub-Group contains audio reels and tapes related to the University of Missouri-Columbia Intercollegiate Athletics Football Program. Contents of individual reels/cassettee tapes include broadcasts of games, a tribute to the 1962 UMC Tiger football team (aired on KMOX, narrated by Jack Buck, play-by-play by Harry Caray), and interviews with prominent members of the MU football program. Also included is a play-by-play summary sheet of the October 25, 1975, Kansas State versus MU game, containing statistics for both teams as well as post-game quotes from both locker rooms.

Note to Researcher: The majority of this collection is made up of audio reels. Only the 1963 MU vs Arkansas game is on audio cassettes.
