This Series contains administrative records created and received by the Department of Physical Therapy in the Univeristy of Missouri's School of Health Professions, (1981-2012). The records consist of accreditation and self-study materials as well as Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) progress reports and communications.

This Series contains records of the Department of Physical Therapy's Athletic Training Program, (2016-2021). The records consist of photographs of the Program's graduating classes, Preceptor of the Year award, Board of Certification certificate for continuing education offerings, (2019), and a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education review certificate, (2016).

Note to Researcher: According to a 2022 webpage (https://healthprofessions.missouri.edu/athletic-training) of the University of Missouri's School of Health Professions, "[t]he Athletic Training Program voluntarily withdrew its accreditation and closed May 20, 2021."

Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual.
