Included are files relating to rate reviews, charge analysis, and loan funds such as the McCanse Memorial, the Mutation fund, and the Medical School Memorial. Also included are correspondence files and records pertaining to departmental activities, policies and procedures, Hospital and Clinics organizational charts, the hospital policy manual history files, regional census comparisons, and quarterly financial and statistical reports. Series Descriptions: Series 1. - C:23/3/1 (A87-32) This Series holds records pertaining to UMCHC departmental rate review and charge analysis as well as files relating to loan funds such as the McCanse Memorial, the Mutation fund, and the Medical School Memorial (ca. 1968-1984). (1 c.f., 040488) Series 2. - C:23/3/2 (A92-48) This Series holds correspondence files relating to departmental managers, departmental activities, and departmental policies and procedures (ca. 1980-1987). Also included is a 1987 UMCHC organizational chart. (1/3 c.f., UMLD1) Series 3. - C:23/3/3 (A93-1) This Series contains correspondence and memos generated or received by the UMCHC Department of Information Services (ca. 1986-1990). Included are correspondence files and inter-departmental memos relating to such subjects programming and operation of computer systems, financial records and accounts, and employee illnesses, evaluations, and reprimands. Series 4. - C:23/3/NP (A94-52) This Series holds records relating to the history and development of the Hospital Policy Manual (Alpha Order), regional census comparisons, and quarterly financial and statistics reports (ca. 1985-1986). Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
