This Record Sub-Group contains a scrapbook compiled by Allen Bliss Wilder between 1907 and 1912, when he was an engineering student at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Included in the Sub-Group are programs and schedules from social events he attended, correspondence, newspaper clippings, postcards, and a "spoof newspaper." Also contained in this Sub-Group are postcards, invitations and other memorabilia regarding St. Patrick's Day celebrations.

Biographical Note:

Allen Bliss Wilder was born on June 6, 1889. He received all of his education prior to the University of Missouri in Saint Louis Public Schools, including preparatory school at Manual Training School. His father, E.B. Wilder was the president of the Day Rubber Company of Saint Louis. Wilder attended the University of Missouri from 1907 to 1912 as a Mechanical Engineering student. His activites at the university included football, track and field, Zeta Chi fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and The Druids honor society.
