Scope and Content Note

This Record Sub-Group contains administrative and other records created by the Zalk Veterinary Medical Library. The Sub-Group includes book order, serial lists, Debbye Turner memorabilia, and general Library administrative records.

Series Descriptions:

Series 1. - C:20/15/2 (A12-30)
This Series contains technical service records received by the cataloging unit of the Zalk Veterinary Medical Library, (1990-1996). The records consist of serials lists, (1994), book history reports, (1990-1996), serials open order reports, (1990-1995), and Baker and Taylor's Automated Buying System (BATAB) purge records, (1990-1996).

Series 2. - C:20/15/3 (A12-55)
This Series contains material collected by the Zalk Veterinary Medical Library regarding Veterinary School alumna Debbye Turner, (1989). The Series contains an offset plate for the front pages of two issues of the Columbia Missourian which include articles about Turner winning the Miss America Competition.

This Series contains administrative and other records created and received by the Veterinary Medical Library at the University of Missouri, (1953-2011, bulk 1970-1980). The records consist of memoranda, correspondence, reports, manuals, and guides related to the following topics: library services, disaster planning and recovery, faculty status, personnel, staff benefits, library catalogs and cataloging, binding and binderies, and Librarians Council.
