Included in the Sub-Group are correspondence files, bulletins, photographs, newspaper clippings, professional conference committee files, and printed and duplicated material. Series Descriptions: Series 1. - C:18/8/2 (A75-13) This Series holds office files created by Amos Snider, Director of the Office of Continuing Professional Education Services, (1960-1966). Included in the Series are correspondence, bulletins, photographs, budget materials, staff recruitment and appointment records, lists of course offerings, enrollment reports, and newspaper clippings. The establishment and operation of the Normandy Residence Center (later to become part of the UMSL campus) are prominent topics within these records. Series 2. - C:18/8/NP (A93-91) This Series contains working files of University Extension Division's Office of Continuing Professional Education Services (1987). Included in the Series are general correspondence files, subject files, and correspondence pertaining to students of the Rockbridge High School Summer Session project. Series 3. - C:18/8/NP (A90-41) This Series contains meeting minutes and other official committee files of N.E.C.E.A. Series 4. - C:18/8/3 This Series contains printed and duplicated material created and related to the University Extension Division's Office of Continuing Professional Education, (ca. 1957-) (1/6 c.f., Ellis) Note to Archivist: The box list for this Series is available online. Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
