Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group contains printed and duplicated materials generated by the University of Missouri-Columbia's College of Veterinary Medicine. Included in this Sub-Group are catalogs, bulletins, faculty, staff and student directories, alumni directories, student organization handbooks of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and copies of the magazine, Missouri Veterinarian.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:17/22/1
This Series holds UMC College of Veterinary Medicine catalogs and bulletins (ca. 1952--). Graduate and undergraduate catalogs as well as general information and special occasion bulletins are included in the Series. Catalogs provide course offerings, lists of faculty members, semester schedules, and information such as entrance requirements, available degree programs, and degree requirements.

Series 2. - C:17/19/1 (A89-19)
This Series contains copies of the Missouri Veterinarian (1971-1979). The Missouri Veterinarian was a magazine generated by the UMC student chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association. It was published three time a year and provided a forum for news about events and personalities of interest to Missourians in the field of Veterinary Science.

Series 3. - C:17/18/1 (A89-19)
This Series holds copies of student handbooks produced by the UMC College of Veterinary Medicine student chapter of the American Veterinary Medicine Association (ca. 1965-2002). Included in this Series are a dress code, requirements for clinical assignments, an honor code, a constitution and by-laws, and a schedule of events sponsored by the UMC chapter.

Series 4. - C:17/00/1 (A02-28; A02-120)
This Series holds copies of the 1990, 1998, 2000-2001, 2002-2003, and 2006-2007 editions of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Directory. The alumni directories in this Series were compiled as cooperative efforts of the College and the MU College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association. Alumni listed in the directories responded to questionnaires and represent members from the class of 1950 through the class of 2001. Each of the directories has an alphabetically arranged biographical section, a class year listing, and a geographical listing of former MU veterinary students.

This Series holds copies of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine Yearbooks, published under the titles of Anastomosis (1969, 1970, 1972) Peristalsis (1973, 1974, 1979, 1981, 1989) Gram-Stain Gazette (1988) and Vetrospect (1993, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004).

This Series contains printed and duplicated materials created by the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri, (1969-2007). The material consists of proceedings from various conferences and workshops organized or sponsored by the College of Veterinary Medicine. The Series also contains copies of the Guide to Missouri Veterinarians for Use of the Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, (1969-1986).

This Series contains printed and duplicated material created by the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri, (1977). The material consists of the Professional Curriculum of the College for 1977. The Curriculum includes American Veterinary Medical Association course outlines, schedules, instructors, topics, and objectives for the various courses offered in the College of Veterinary Medicine.

This Series contains printed and duplicated material of the Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA), (1994). The material consist of the items handed out to participants of the 1994 SAVMA Symposium held at the University of Misouri's College of Veterinary Medicine. The Series includes a sponsor guide, a survival guide, proceedings, a pen, and various brochures and a flyer advertising local business and City of Columbia.
