Scope and Content Note
This Record Sub-Group contains commemorative portraits, photographs, and posters of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Included in the Sub-Group are painted portraits and photographs of faculty and commerative posters of two MU mules, Hilda and Louise.

Series 1. - C:17/24/1 (A12-23; A13-25)
This Series contains commemorative portraits, photographs, and posters of the College of Veterinary Medicine, (ca. 1940s-1999). The painted portraits and the photographs depict the following faculty and staff of the College: John Waldo Connaway, E. Allen Corley, Otto Smith Crisler, Leonard Dewhirst, Adrian J. Durant, E. F. Ebert, Robert Charles McClure, H. C. McDougle, Raymond W. Loan, Leslie C. Murphy, Ben Riley, Benjamin B. Roseboom, George C. Shelton, Stanley Smith, Kenneth D. Weide, and Joseph E. Weinman. Also included are photographic portraits (mounted) of the following Distinguished Service Award winners: T. W. Diggs, (1975), B. W. Kingrey, (1976), George C. Shelton, (1977), Aaron H. Groth, (1978), John Olin, (1979), Arthur A. Case, (1980), Joseph T. McGinty, (1981), W. H. Eyestone, (1983), C. J. Bierschwal, (1983), Loren D. Kintner, (1983), L. G. Morehouse, (1987), Donald A. Schmidt, (1992), Kenneth H. Niemeyer, (1992), and Robert and Evelyn Kahrs, (1999). The Series also contains a commemorative poster, (1984), issued by the Friends of Veterinary Medicine of two MU mules, Hilda and Louise. The poster was based on a painting by Virginia Blackley.
