Scope and Content Note
This Record Sub-Group contains memorabilia pertaining to the School of Nursing and its faculty, staff and students.
Series 1. - C:15/17/1 (A02-123)
This Series contains memorabilia related to the School of Nursing, (1990). Included in this Series are two navy blue banners with white lettering. The lettering reads "Mizzou Nursing 1920-1990." The banners are 36" x 25" in size.

Series 2. - C:15/17/2 (A08-68)
This Series contains memorabilia, (1925-1971), related to Helen Nahm, faculty member and principal of the School of Nursing at the University of Missouri. The memorabilia consist of four doctoral hoods and various plaques, certificates, citations, and awards received by Helen Nahm from universities and nursing organizations. Among the materials are her honorary degree citation from the University of Missouri, (1961), a citation of merit from the MU School of Nursing, (1966), her Bachelor of Arts diploma, (1926), and Graduate in Nursing certificate, (1925), both from the University of Missouri.

Note to Researcher: Helen Nahm began her career at MU as Student Nurse in the Hospital in 1922. She resigned as assistant professor and principal of the School of Nursing in 1942.
Note to Archivist: The material in this Series was brought together for an exhibit of Helen Nahm memorabilia prior to transfer to the University Archives.
Series 3. - C:15/17/3 (A22-27)
This Series contains memorablia of the School of Nursing, (1929-2019). The memorabilia consist of composite and other photographs of nursing classes.

Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
