Scope and Content Note

This Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine's Department of Health Services Management. Included in this Sub-Group are departmental correspondence, curriculum materials, course evaluations, Health Services Management Tele-lecture materials, home study materials, professional association information, health profession workshop materials, seminar and conference files, in-home care photographic slides, separated faculty personnel records, and guidelines for faculty appointments within Health Services Management.

Series 1. - C:14/53/1 (A89-30)
This Series contains office files of the UMC School of Medicine’s Department of Health Services Management, (ca. 1970-1988). Included in the Series are departmental correspondence, curriculum materials, course evaluations, Tele-lecture materials, home study materials, professional association information, health profession workshop materials, seminar and conference files, and guidelines for faculty appointments within Health Services Management.

Series 2. - C:14/53/2 (A97-68)
This Series contains a group of photographic slides pertaining to the proper manner of providing in-home care, (1991). Included in the Series are slides depicting how to properly give baths, maintain joint mobility, transfer and lift, care for the mouth, and dress in-home patients. Also included in this Series are slides suggesting how to promote aging awareness among the young.

This Series contains course materials from the MU School of Medicine’s Department of Health Services Management, (1966-1972; 1994-1995). Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual.
