Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group contains materials of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. This Sub-Group includes Annual Barrister's Banquet program, Senior Class Law Day programs, facilities planning information, alumni directories, general information catalogs about the School of Law, and publications.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:12/00/3 (A93-106)
This Series contains a printed program for the Annual Barristers Banquet held at Daniel Boone Tavern, March 3, 1921. The program includes the menu, a list of speakers, a law "cheer," and a list of Banquet Committee members.

Series 2. - C:12/00/1
This Series contains reports relating to facilities planning for the current School of Law building (Hulston Hall). These materials include architect development option reports, plans and goal statements, as well as materials related to the Law School Foundation, (1979-ca. 1983).

Series 3. - C:12/00/2 (A92-28; A02-28; A17-14)
This Series contains copies of the Law Alumni Directory University of Missouri-Columbia, (1959, 1977, 1988 and 1991). According to the foreword, the 1991 Directories is the fifth directory to be published. Alumni are classified in three ways, alphabetically, geographically and by class year. Alphabetic and class year listings list all alumni beginning with the class of 1925. Only living graduates are listed for the classes previous to the class of 1925.

Series 4. - C:12/18/1
This Series contains programs from Senior Class Law Day for May 29, 1893 and June 4, 1894. Program information includes a list of class officers, ushers, graduates and the program of events.

This Series contains copies of catalogs and bulletins regarding general information about the School of Law, (1876-1991). No bulletins are included for the years 1880-1895. Some issues of the student publication "The Docket" are also part of Series 5.

Series 6. - C:12/00/4 (A02-67)
This Series contains two bound volumes of The University of Missouri Bulletin: Law Series containing law publications of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. This Law Series was published four times a year in February, April, June and December. Volume 16, Number 34 contains Law Series 9-16, (12/1915-12/1917). Volume 20, Number 32 contains Law Series 17-24, (11/1919-04/1922).

This series contains materials related to the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, (1942-2019). Topics vary and include student handbooks, directories, newsletters, placement manuals, admissions material, event programs, new student orientation guides, informational brochures, the Law Enforcement Training Institute, and the Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution. Titles include: Black American Law Students Association (B.A.L.S.A.) Handbook, First Year and Transfer Students Directories, Law School Foundation, Minority Handbook, Student Bar Association (S.B.A.) Orientation Guide, The Guide to the University of Missouri Columbia School of Law Student Organizations, and the newsletters Law School News, Tate Hall Communique, LEX, and Transcript.
