This Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia Office of the Dean of Extra Divisional Administration. Included in this Sub-Group are correspondence, individual case folders, newspaper and magazine articles, telegrams, reports, test materials, program materials, department rules, regulations for University-sponsored activities, and Extra-Divisional Administration Reports.

Series 1. - C:1/51/1
This Series contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia Office of the Dean of Extra-Divisional Administration, pertaining to the Committee on Student Conduct, (1922-1973). Included in this Series are correspondence, newspaper and magazine articles, telegrams, reports, and test materials. Topics in this Series include committee deliberations, actions of the committee, attempts to have notations of disciplinary actions removed, academic dishonesty, admission of students, alcohol use by students, illegal drug use by students, probation violations, traffic violations, housing violations, sexual offenses, curfew violations, civil rights violations, vandalism, library violations, panty raids, voting frauds, shoplifting, student protests, theft, fighting, and shoplifting.

This Series contains records of the Office of the University of Missouri-Columbia Dean of Extra-Divisional Administration pertaining to special events and departments, (1948-1966). Included in the Series are correspondence, reports, and event programs. Topics include the R.O.T.C., the Physical Education Department, rules and regulations for university-sponsored activities, policies regarding faculty and staff political activity, special convocations, transfer of course credits earned at state teachers' colleges, and building dedications.

This Series contains records of the Office of the University of Missouri-Columbia Dean of Extra-Divisional Administration, (1968-1969). In this Series are two Extra-Divisional Administrative Reports (Problems of Junior College Transfer Students: A Review of On-Campus Research, 1968, Trend Analysis of Transfer Students to UMC from Missouri Colleges and Universities, 1969) and one study (Students' Perceptions of the University of Missouri, 1967)

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
