This Series contains course syllabi and other course materials for courses taught in the Department of Art History and Archaeology, (1986-2004). In addition to syllabi, materials may include blank exams, reading lists, and course packets.

This Series contains terminated faculty files for the Department of Art History and Archaeology, (1968-2002). The records [RESTRICTED] pertain to Professor William R. Biers and include correspondence, memoranda, evaluations, annual reviews, curriculum vitae, off-prints, a photograph, and personnel-related records.

This Series contains administrative record of the Department of Art History and Archaeology, (1961-2016). The records include the following types and topics: terminated faculty files [RESTRICTED], departmental meetings, the departmental slide library, a departmental self-study, (1995-1999), Swallow Hall, Pickard Hall, and Hickman House.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual.
