Selection for membership rests with the Executive Board and is based on demonstration of scholarship, leadership and service. Activities during the year include participation in the initiation ceremony and other ceremonial events, such as the Professional Works Programs and the annual Country Christmas Bazaar. Outstanding Service Awards are presented to local chapter members each year. Financial scholarships are awarded to outstanding Phi Upsilon Omicron members.
