This Series contains reports and professional conference proceedings. Titles include The More Important Insects Injurious to Corn in Missouri, (n.d.), The More Important Insects Injurious to Wheat in Missouri, (1902), and Twentieth Annual Meeting North Central State Entomologists, (1941).

Series 2. - C:3/23/3
This Series contains printed and duplicated material associated with the Department of Entomology of the University of Missouri's College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, (1977, 1991, 1994-1995, 2005). The collection consists of two issues of The C.V. Riley Entomological Society Newsletter, (1994-1995), as well as three volumes of the Tiger Beetle, the yearbook of the Society, (1977, 1991, 2005).

Note to Researcher: According to the website of the University of Missouri's Division of Plant Sciences, "[t]he C. V. Riley Entomological Society is a student organization that is open to enrolled students, faculty, and staff at the University of Missouri that share an interest in insects. The Entomology Club at MU was established in 1929 and officially renamed the Charles V. Riley Entomological Society in 1933."
Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
