This Record Sub-Group contains 304 reels of 16mm microfilm holding the office files of the Dean of UMC's College of Agriculture. Included in this Sub-Group are Departmental reports, scholarship questionnaires, Experiment Station Circular Letters and publications, records of department projects at the Experiment Station, committee minutes and reports, Board of Curators' recommendations and actions concerning the College of Agriculture. Also included in the Sub-Group are: enrollment data, budget materials, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) publications and memos, daily administration, and alumni and student records.

Additional records included in this Record Sub-Group pertain to correspondence to and from students, general correspondence of the Dean's Office, faculty correspondence, drought relief and depression era materials, correspondence with other institutions, committee files. The Sub-Group includes records dealing with rural education, organization and policy, intercollegiate athletics, veterans service, foreign visitors programs and training, fertilizer control, flood control in Missouri, the Land Grant Colleges Association, position opening listings, scholarships, Short Courses, Gamma Sigma Delta, State plan for forestry, Civilian Conservation Corps (C.C.C.) campsite data, soil conservation data, housing of students and faculty, salary distribution, and India Program records.

Series Descriptions:

This Record Sub-Group is divided into two record series. Series One is comprised of records pertaining to College of Agriculture Alumni and students. Due to the private nature of these records, they have been removed from boxes three and four (see Series Two) and concentrated in box one. All files in Series One are restricted. Series Two contains the College of Agriculture Dean's Office correspondence files and a variety of reports, surveys, Board of Curators recommendations, and committee minutes and related documents.
