Scope and Content Note
This Record Sub-Group contains administrative and other records created or received by the Office of Dean in the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs. The records include general administrative records, annual faculty evaluations, faculty files, promotion and tenure records, files for the Monroe-Paine lectures, and printed and duplicated material.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:28/1/1 (A15-23)
This Series contains administrative records of the Truman School of Public Affairs, (2006-2007). The records consist of annual faculty evaluations or reviews [RESTRICTED] which may include student course evaluations. Series 1 also contains a course packet for PA 8520, (2006).

Series 2. - C:28/1/2 (A15-24)
This Series contains administrative and other records of the Truman School of Public Affairs, (2001-2008). The records pertain to the Monroe-Paine lecture series and can include invitations, fiscal records, correspondence, speaker biographies, press releases, advertisements, flyers, and, in a few instances, DVD-R media.

Series 3. - C:28/00/1
This Series contains printed and duplicated material produced by the Truman School of Public Affairs, (2000-2004). The material consist of brochures and pamphlets on such topics as degree programs, general information on the school, and events (including the school's dedication in 2002), as well as annual reports, (2002-2003 and 2003-2004), and issues of the newsletter "Plain Speaking", (2001-2002). The Series also includes a 4/2004 survey for alumni of the Masters in Public Administration program.

This Series contains administrative records created and received by the Dean's Office in the Truman School of Public Affairs, (2004-2014). The records consist of the following types and topics: Child Care Aware of Missouri board meetings and other records, training files, the School's Alumni Advisory Board, awards, faculty retreats, various School programs, orientation, and Monroe-Paine lectures.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
