Included in this Sub-Group are brochures, pamphlets, photographs, programs, menus, and reports highlighting general information about the construction, improvement and overall amenities of these various buildings, as well as the variety of student activities from 1936-1981 held or centered around these student unions. Series Descriptions: This Sub-Group is not divided into separate records series. Arrangement of the Sub-Group is alphabetical. InventoryBox 1 FF 1 - Activities: 1945-1982. This folder includes copies of Carousel Night Club and Music Revue programs, 1954-1969; a recognition dinner program featuring President Harry S. Truman as speaker, 1954; a madrigal dinner advertisement, 1981; a Thanksgiving Day menu, November 25, 1954; Hawthorn Room advertisements and menus, 1977; Main Street newspaper (with article on activities held at Memorial Union during spring semester, 1982; and The Password pamphlet guides to student activities, 1958-1959. FF 2 - General Information on Student Unions: 1942-1957. This folder includes copies of It's Always Open House at Read Hall pamphlets, 1942-1943; Memorial Student Union and Brady Commons pamphlets (including general information, cafeteria menus, and photographs of the unions and activities held there, ca. 1950-1957; and a certificate of acknowledgement for the School of Education's campaign to establish a memorial (Memorial Union) for students who died in World War II, 1942. FF 3 - Improvements and New Facilities: 1936-1963. This folder includes copies of programs for the dedication of the completed Memorial Union, October 12, 1963; dedication of the Baird Chimes and Clock, November 26, 1936; and the completion of the A.P. Green Chapel, October 11, 1959; as well as the University of Missouri Memorial Union Building Revenue Bond Fund Report and Accounts, June 30, 1956; and a copy of a brochure for "Bengal Lair Snack Bar" in Memorial Union, September 1963.
