Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group holds University of Missouri-Columbia College of Medicine Alumni records. Included in this Sub-Group are photographs of College of Medicine students, alumni, and buildings, College of Medicine Alumni Association organizational files and meeting minutes, and correspondence from the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1. - C:14/12/4 (A98-92)
This Series holds University of Missouri-Columbia College of Medicine Alumni records, (ca. 1960-1990). Included in the Series are photographs of College of Medicine students, alumni, and buildings, as well as College of Medicine Alumni Association organizational files and newspaper clippings concerning College of Medicine students and alumni.

Series 2. - C:14/12/2 (A04-33)
This Series holds correspondence sent by the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations in the School of Medicine, (1977). The Series consists of copies of outgoing correspondence from the Coordinator of the Alumni and Constituent Relations Office. The correspondence is grouped into monthly 'reading files' and pertains to Alumni activities including fund raising, donors [RESTRICTED], meetings, and reunions.

Series 3. - C:14/12/3 (A13-76)
This Series contains administrative and other records of the Medical Alumni Office in the School of Medicine at the University of Missouri, (2000-2007). The records pertain to the Physicians Alumni Weekend and the Missouri State Medical Association Medical Alumni Awards.

Series 4. - C:14/12/5 (A23-84)
This Series contains records created and received by the Office of Advancement for the School of Medicine, (1931-2012). The records consist of optical media disks containing records pertaining to School of Medicine alumni events such as Physicians Alumni Weekend (PAW) which, though mostly containing event photographs, include some planning files for a PAW banquet, (2006). Also included is the printed program for the 2017 (50th) PAW banquet and a Health Sciences Campus Vision video, (n.d.). Series 4 also holds a bound volume of copies of Medical Alumni Organization meeting minutes for the years 1931 to 2008.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
