This Record Sub-Group contains administrative and other created by University of Missouri's School of Journalism pertaining to its Journalism Week.

Series 1. - C:11/15/5 (A21-56)
This Series contains administrative and other records pertaining to the School of Journalism's 1986 Journalism Week, (1985-1986). The records include news releases, planning documentation, a copy of the "J-Week 1989: Old Traditions, New Technologies" progam, correspondence, and memoranda.

Note to Researcher: The records in Series 1 were collected by Broadcast Journalism Professor Kent Collins who served as chairman of Journalism Week for 1986.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
