This Sub-Group holds office files of the Associate Dean of the University of Missouri-Columbia Graduate School and Research Office. Included in this Sub-Group are correspondence files, alumni development activities reports.

Series 1. - C:10/2/NP (A90-91; A91-55; A95-116)
This Series consists of office files of the Associate Dean of the University of Missouri-Columbia's Graduate School and Research Office (ca. 1984-1989). Included in this Series are correspondence files, alumni development activities reports, files relating to electron microscope use, records of relations with Graduate School divisions and departments, applications for faculty travel, faculty foreign travel reports, research proposals, and Chancellor's Award announcements.

This Series contains administrative records created and received by the Associate and Assistant Deans of the University of Missouri Graduate School, (1979-2009, bulk 2000-2005). The records consist of the following types and topics: correspondence, fellowships, scholarships, Preparing Future Faculty seminars, and the Gamma Alpha Association. The records originate from the tenures of Suzanne Ortega and Pam Benoit.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
