This Series contains printed and duplicated materials created by the Human Resources Department. Materials include the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Relations Manuals, (1973-1974, 1977-1978), Annual Personnel Reports, (1971-1972), Training and Development Classes, (1994-2007, with gaps). Topics include HR policies, faculty/staff benefits, Stenographic Services/SOS Temporary Staffing, and MU Women's Network.

This Series contains printed and duplicated material created or distributed by the University of Missouri Human Resource Services, (2004). The printed and duplicated material formed a packet of information distributed at New Employee Orientation sessions. The material includes a New Employee Orientation presentation handout, a staff handbook, a self-identification form, a schedule of Training and Development classes, and brochures and flyers from Campus Dining Services, Risk and Insurance Management, the Employee Assistance Program, Staff Advisory Council, Campus Mediation Service, Online and Independent Study, Environmental Health and Safety, Printing Services, Mizzou Credit Union, the Health Connection, IAT Services, and University Optical.

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
