Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri-Columbia Missouri Kidney Program. Included in this Sub-Group are correspondence, funded agency records, grant proposals, handbooks and manuals, committee meeting minutes, fiscal records, budget requests, facilities records, cost containment proposals, transportation records, grant records, program meeting records, annual program reports, home care program records, donor authorizations, activity reports, contract guidelines, renal disease program reports, advisory council records, and general administrative records.
Note to Researcher: The Missouri Kidney Program initially received administrative supervision from the UMC Chancellor's Office. At the beginning of 1991, supervision of this program was transferred to the Dean of the UMC School of Medicine.

Series 1 - C:1/30/1 (A85-45)
This Series contains records of the UMC Missouri Kidney Program (1968-1978). Included in this Series are administrative correspondence, funded agency records, facilities records, grant proposals, and a copy of a manual entitled, Missouri Regional Medical Program Awards, 1967-1975.

This Series contains records of the UMC Missouri Kidney Program (1976-1980). Included in this Series are correspondence with the Chancellor's Office, Chancellor's Review Committee records, Objective Criteria Committee records, Transplant Study Group records, and Missouri Kidney Program Advisory Council records.

This Series contains records of the UMC Missouri Kidney Program (1979-1981). Included in this Series are general administrative records, cost containment project materials, and final reports pertaining to two 1979-1980 transition projects.

Included in this Series are correspondence records, committee records, grant and contract records, facilities records, budget requests, Advisory Council materials, and subject records, and tapes of technical reviews and panel discussions. The tapes consists of one VHS videotape of a Patient Panel Discussion (1992) and cassette audiotapes of technical reviews and panel discussions, (n.d.).

Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
