Scope and Content Note

(A75-71, A76-58, A94-124)
This Record Sub-Group contains materials originally collected by the University’s Ellis Library, Special Collections Division. The collection contains an assortment of programs, press releases, calendars, flyers, announcements and news clippings, covering a wide range of university-related topics. Many of the items document specific events relating to the University's buildings, grounds, and departments, while others relate to the personal histories and activities of faculty members, administrators and students. Additional materials document the University's relationship with the surrounding community and state, through various social, athletic, and alumni events.

Series Descriptions:

This Record Sub-Group is not divided into series. The Sub-Group is arranged alphabetically by topic.

Note to Researcher: The microfilming of this collection was funded by the State of Missouri, the State Documents Preservation Fund, the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, and is supported by the Missouri State Archives, a division of the Office of Secretary of State. Upon completion of microfilming, the various non-newsprint items still in good condition were placed in the University Archives' Vertical File. Some newspaper articles and other deteriorated items were copied for that file, but most were destroyed.
