COPE & STEWARDSON, ARCHITECTS 320 Walnut Street Philadelphia 800 Security Building St. Louis E. L. Stewardson Jame P. Jamieson St. Louis, November 16, 1904 Dean J. D. Lawson, University of Missouri Dear Sir:- Enclosed please find sketches showing the proposed alterations in Law Building. We have had an estimate made here in the city and find that the cost of this work will approximately come at $2500. This includes plaster, painting etc. in all of the rooms affected by the alterations; also includes new lavatory fixtures and all other labor and material necessary to put this portion of the building in a complete and finished condition. The only change that we would suggest from these sketches would be the omission of the opening between the library reading room and the little room at the south-west corner of the east wing. Mr. Vogely [?] is going to be in Columbia on Friday and will call in your office in the morning to talk over any further changes or alterations that you wish to have made and correct such details as do not meet with your approval. Yours truly, Cope & Stewardson Per [signature illegible]
