Escaped Monkey Still Remains “At-Large” As Search Continues No trace of the monkey which escaped Monday morning from the School of Medicine of the University was found Friday in the weekly inspection of the steam tunnel underneath the East Campus and Francis Quadrangle. It went into the maze of heating pipes Wednesday on Elm Street, north of the School of Journalism. Dr. M.D. Overholser, professor of anatomy, said Saturday he hoped a second search through the heat piping system today would result in its capture. However, there are several places where it could have escaped from the tunnel. J.O. Roberts, technician in the anatomy department, search vainly the tree tops this morning, hoping the monkey might have returned to its earlier habitat since it was once given food there.
