Donald W. Reynolds Makes Dreams Come True Don Reynolds, BJ ’27, has often said, “The greatest thing that happened in my life was my years at the University.” The industrious Reynolds, intent on fulfilling a childhood dream to be a reporter, excelled in the classroom at Mizzou. After graduating he went on to become founder and chairman of the Donrey Media Group, a national multimillion dollar communications company. It was his dream come true. A longtime contributor to journalism and athletic scholarship, the Jefferson Club charter member has made the dreams of many others come true. Last February, he fulfilled another when he gave the University 19 million, its largest gift ever, to build a new Alumni Center in the heart of Campus. The Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center will symbolize the relationship between alumni and their alma mater. The challenge to maintain excellence at Mizzou rests now more than ever with alumni and friends.
