This Sub-Group contains records of the University of Missouri Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies. The majority of these records were created or received by Vice President Raymond E. Peck. Included in the Sub-Group are correspondence, meeting minutes and related materials, divisional and annual reports, questionnaires and statistical data regarding research activities, records of establishment and construction of research facilities (including Sinclair Farm), records of the Comparative Medicine and Space Science Research Center (Dalton Research Center), Research Reactor records, Water Resources Lab records, Weldon Springs records, and committee records of the Long Range Planning, Patent Policy, Copyright, and Educational Advisory Committees. Also included in this Sub-Group are materials regarding conflict of interest policies, information retrieval and processing, research procedures and policies, new degree programs, environmental health concerns, and Office of Industrial Development Studies. Raymond Peck also served as Chair of the University System Long-Range Planning Committee.
