This Record Sub-Group contains university related papers of Board of Curators member Frank Mann, (1943-1951). Included in this Sub-Group are administrative correspondence, newspaper clippings, transcripts, reports, and meeting minutes. Topics in this Sub-Group include possible separation of the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in Rolla from the University of Missouri, payments for members' attendance at Board of Curators meetings, disposition of University properties, admission of African-Americans, creation of a Medical School at MU, stadium construction, relations with the Federal Government, non-resident tuition charges, and defining the powers of the Board of Curators.
Note to Archivist: This entire collection has been microfilmed. The poor physical condition of the original materials in this Sub-Group has resulted in the microfilming of the materials in their entirety. The use of the microfilm version of the material is strongly encouraged unless need for the paper records can be shown by the researcher.
