Scope and Content Note

This Record Sub-Group contains administrative and other records created by Department of Women's and Gender Studies. The records include annual reports, faculty personnel files, and printed and duplicated material.

Historical Note:

The Department of Women's and Gender Studies was created in the College of Arts and Science in 2007. A Women's Studies Program was established at the University of Missouri in 1980, and a full-time director, Dorothy Haecker, was added in 1981. The Program changed its name to Women's and Gender Studies in 2002. Additional records pertaining to the Program can be found in C:1/23/3.

This Series contains printed and duplicated material created by the Department of Women's and Gender Studies, (1978-2013). The records consist of event programs, course offerings, and publications of the department, including Women Studies Newsletter and Voices.
