This Record Sub-Group contains the administrative records of the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Human Environmental Sciences' Department of Textile and Apparel Management. Included in this Sub-Group are correspondence, general administrative records, newspaper articles relating to the department, and records pertaining to departmental name changes and departmental history.

This Series contains records pertaining to the University of Missouri-Columbia
College of Human Environmental Sciences' Department of Textile and Apparel Management,
(1982-2001). Included in this Series are academic/faculty
personnel files [RESTRICTED] for four faculty members, which consist of peer evaluations,
award nomination documentation for or by these faculty members, general correspondence
including resignation letters, committee correspondence, project award proposals
and correspondence, interview documentation, promotion/tenure dossiers and documentation,
salary documentation, vitae, student evaluations, research files, publications,
personal information, performance reviews, disciplinary documentation, various
project documentation, a disability claim with related documentation and correspondence,
letters of recommendation, grant applications, transcripts, course proposals,
and syllabi. This Series also contains undergraduate program assessments (1998),
grant proposal to the American Apparel Manufacturers Association (AAMA) for
Missouri Textile & Apparel Center (MOTAC) (1991-1992), budgeting file on
rational based budgeting (1984), and department extension reports, (1987, 1989,
1991, 1993-1994).

This Series contains records of the Department of Textile and Apparel Management, (1994-1996). The records in this Series consist of Promotion and Tenure dossiers [RESTRICTED] and departmental program assessments, (1994-1996).

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files. Consultations with legal counsel, both in-house and external, are protected by the attorney/client privilege and will not be released.
